The Maryland Poultry Swap & Farmer's Market is back.  The annual spring market offers a great selection of locally sourced products and services to the community.  It's a networking hub and a social affair.  Customers usually stop in to check it out or search for that specific something but wind up spending the day shopping and exploring.  The live music and expanding food options help keep our customers here but it's those aisles of interesting and awesome, fun and beautiful vendors that keep them coming back in throves.  Ty for being a part of it, Erin

Poultry Vendor $25 - A poultry vendor primarily sells poultry but may also bring farming and craft items.  Please check with your local ag. dept to verify credentials you may need to bring birds to the swap

Farm Vendor $25 - A farm vendor produces their items through farming methods such as honeybee hives, raises the sheep to make their wool, the goats for the milk used to make their soap, starts their own seeds for veggies and flowers.  A farm vendor primarily sells farming items but may also bring crafts

Craft Vendor $95 - Craft vendors do NOT produce their items through farming methods.  Crafts such as pottery, woodworking, jewelry, saddlery, forged items, baked goods, etc. are all welcome.  Crafted beer/wine/liquor must be pre approved.  Our core focus has and will always be chickens and farmers and, because of that, we reserve 125 spaces for them and keep those fees as low as we can to encourage them and continue the focus of the poultry swap!  Craft items have 75 spots reserved (we will sell out) Crafts that are "earthy" and less "commercialized" will do well at the swap meet.

If you're sure you wanna swap, please register early.  We sold out last April.  Spaces are app. 12x12 with room for a vehicle.  We are offering early set up on Friday 12 noon until dusk.  If Erin isn't out there... just ask a fellow vendor about where to set up and most have enough experience to be able to assist.  I'll be out soon :) Please all newbies.. check out the Vendor info document on our swap page.  Tons of info there... but overall, it's pretty relaxed with regard to organization (it's just me) but gets really hectic on swap morning.  Planning a bit ahead helps me and helps you.   Advertising also helps me and helps you.  I work very hard to create flyers, gather vendor info for ads and monitor the social pages to try to get the word out.  I'm gonna ask you to share with your friends and your followers... and to post in our event group (to be created). This early advertising is very effective and helps folks make plans to come.  And it enables them to learn about your product before they even arrive!  Let's work to help each other.

Ty all for the support.  Lots of love and happy farming, Erin
