About the event
The MPS&FM will be held on Saturday, April 24th 2021 9am-2pm. Anything farm related, homemade, handcrafted, homegrown, upcycled, antique and unique is welcome at the swapmeet.
Pricing - Our swapmeet is always growing.  Poultry sellers and farmers will always be the main focus and we will continue to keep  those spaces affordable to encourage these folks to make the trip.   Spaces are large enough to include 12x12 canopy and 1 vehicle.  Double spaces can be purchased to reserve more room.
VENDOR Info: Â All paid vendor spaces require a small transaction fee. Â These fees help cover CC and paypal utilization. Â
Poultry Vendor $25 Â - selling birds but may also sell farm related and craft items.
Farm Vendor $25 - sells anything produced by farming methods; livestock, wool from your sheep, soaps and lotions from your goat's milk, pork/beef/poultry for butchering, farmed flowers and started plants, mushroom production, micro greens, hemp, produce, packaged products like grain, honey and wine you produced, aquaculture, orchards... Farm vendors may also sell craft items. (all items must follow state and national sales guidelines)
Craft/Hobby/Retail Vendor $60 - produces handcrafted items/supplies products through non- farming methods; Â upholstery, sewing, tannery, basket weaver, potter, jeweler, antique dealer, succulent terrariums, reselling produce auction items, boutique items, t-shirts and signs, feed stores that do not produce their own grain, etc. Â Â We appreciate our craft and retail vendors very much and, because of our limited space, this slightly higher fee encourages those vendors who sell higher quality items to join us!
Food Vendor $150 - must be approved by management at Green Hill Farm
EarlyBird Entry Tickets $10 - Entry permitted at 8am with General Admission beginning at 9am.Â
Vendor Set Up - Â anytime after noon on Friday, vendors are welcome to come and set up. Â Follow signs for "Vendor Parking" Many folks claim their same spot each swap so, please ask for assistance with finding a spot if you're unsure of where to go. Â Â It's smart to drop your canopy low over your tables before leaving for the night in case we get any winds overnight. Â Some folks take the fabric off and put it back on in the am. Â If you are arriving on Saturday
Please Arrive EARLY on Swap Day. Â We will be up and setting up vendors at dawn. Â Please arrive early enough to be able to be set up and ready by 8am sharp when we open the attendance gate. Â NO VEHICLES will be permitted inside the gates after we open for safety reasons. Â Late vendors will be able to set up in the parking area if they have paid the vendor fee.
Vendor Passes will be handed out upon entry. Â Each vendor will receive two vendor passes so that they may bring in one additional person to assist. Â Children are always free to attend.
We usually open the gates again when things slow down so vendors who have sold out can pack up early if they'd like (around 1pm). Â Please do not open gates yourself... ask for assistance and staff will help direct for safety reasons.
RULES:
No dogs. Â It's become too much of a liability risk and they frighten the birds. Â We are sorry to say they are no longer welcome :(
No shavings tossed on the ground. Â It kills our grass. Â If you would like to use bedding in your crates, that's fine.. just please take it with you when you go. Â Hay or Straw is fine on the grass and is fine left behind... just spread it out as best you can.
All livestock must be contained and must comply with MDA regulations.
All animals must be in excellent health
All Vendors must arrive before 7:45 to access vendor gate.
Most questions can be quickly on our website.   ghfarm.org  Â

See you at the swap! Â - Erin
