The event barn was built in 2016 using white oak post and beam and constructed using traditional mortise and tenon technique. Though the barn is new, it blends well with the historic landscape of the farm.
Its open sides enable 360 degree views of the farm for a truly outdoor event. With large overhangs and optional sidewalls, it can protect against poor weather if necessary.
Centrally located to the farmhouse and barnyard and a quick stroll from the flower garden, the barn works well as the centerpiece of the venue while encouraging guests to venture out and explore other areas of the farm.
New for 2020: additional patio space with awning off the rear of the barn to accommodate additional seating.
The Event barn with future awning seats 150 comfortably. For larger events, we suggest including a large white tent adjacent to the barn in which to host the reception dinner and utilize the barn as a dance hall with cocktail tables. This optional works very well and is beautiful with more area to decorate and enjoy.
